The beautiful “school supply” Christmas tree in the Elementary Department demonstrates the wonderful resourcefulness of our staff. Many thanks to Loria Smith who decorated this tree for us! What a unique idea to use school supplies for ornaments! That is just one example of how our staff use their creativity each and every day to develop lessons and activities for our students. They are simply awesome! Another example of that awesomeness is our own ASD graduate and teacher, Toni Davenport! She wrote a story that will be used in our Christmas program this Thursday at 9 a.m.

Wow....so hard to believe it is already November and Thanksgiving is just around the corner!! We have been so BUSY since school started! The preschool and kindergarten classes in the Woods building have been to the zoo and to the Pumpkin Patch! What fun!! The preschool classes in the Listening and Spoken Language Program have been to the Old Baker Farm. The 4th-6th grade classes went to Rickwood Caverns, and the 1st-6th grade classes went to Disney on Ice! Field trips are absolutely the BEST, most fun way to learn!!
