We are wrapping up the week before Thanksgiving break and it has been busy! We are really focusing on getting homework done and also finding time for basketball and other activities. Sunday, a group of students attended Faith Mission for the Deaf and enjoyed the service and potluck luncheon. Monday, Rashard James and Kelly Ciganek celebrated birthdays with dinner at the Chinese restaurant. Also joining them were Marshe Brownlee and Rydrea Walker. Tuesday was a home basketball game against Jacksonville Christian.

It has been another exciting week around campus! On Sunday, students attended the annual “Feel the Thunder” motorcycle rally and toy drop (photo below). We enjoyed seeing over 100 cyclists and every student present got to see Santa and get a toy. Take a minute to enjoy the pictures posted on the cafeteria bulletin board. Mondays are our “Dorm Night” programs and students are busy working on ornaments for the Christmas tree in the president’s home. We have some very creative students and staff! Wednesday was a big night with our first basketball scrimmage and four visiting teams.
